Vessel - 10x10
Title:“Vessel”
Medium: Oil sticks + acrylic paint on wooden panel
Size: 10 × 10 inches
Panel Depth: 1 and 5/8 inches
One of my favorite memories in Boston was when a friend and I went on an adventure to pick up a Facebook Marketplace find: a glass vessel, wide at the bottom with a long, thin opening. To our surprise, it was enormous—nothing like it had appeared online—and we could not stop laughing. This big glass vase lived in both of my Boston apartments, serving as a stunning centerpiece.
I’ve always been struck by the simple yet profound beauty of a vessel, open and ready to hold. This painting marks the beginning of my deeper meditation on vessels, a theme I cant wait to exploring further.
This painting was created with soft, expressive oil sticks and acrylic on a wooden panel. The edges are painted to match the background, giving it a clean, finished look—beautiful unframed, or ready to frame if you prefer.
Color Notes:
The background of this painting is a light violet blue, that leans periwinkle. The lines are a natural white, appearing slightly light blue or grey against the light violet. Please let me know if you would like more photos or a quick studio FaceTime to get a closer look.
The oil sticks need a few extra days to fully dry before shipping to ensure it arrives safely.
All sales are final. Free local pickup in Winston Salem, NC. TO SHIP THIS PAINTING, please choose SMALL PAINTING SHIPPING at check out.
